The cooperation between motor cans and watches industry has a long history. Mercedes
Mercedes has worked together with several well-known watch manufacturers, including the IWC, TAG Heuer and Muhle. The cooperation relationship with famous watch company Graham is especially remarkable. The Mercedes GP Trackmaster and Mercedes GP Silverstone are two masterpieces. Their debut is due to the cooperation of Graham and Formula One Mercedes GP Petronas team. The Mercedes GP Trackmaster watch has a silver dial with two counters. Being same as the dashboard of Mercedes cars, the chronograph counters feature red hands and green inner ring. Date window is at 7 o’clock. Hour markers come in silver Arabic numerals. Mercedes GP Silverstone watch is a remarkable chronograph with 30 minutes, 60 seconds and 12 hours counters at 12, 9 and 6 o’clock position. Their hands also represent in red and green like the dashboard indicator of car. Date window is at 9 o’clock. The “GRAHAM” and “Mercedes GP” logos are respectively at 12 and 3 o’clock. Mercedes GP Silverstone features its black carbon fibre dial and tachymeter. These two timepieces are both mounted with black rubber strap embossed with the car tire lines.
Morgan
To celebrate the 100th anniversary of Morgan Motor Company, inspired by a Morgan AeroMax car, the Swiss watch company Hublot designed a special Big Bang watch named Aero Bang Morgan. There are only AeroMax series limited editions. Hublot limitedly introduced 500 pieces Aero Bang Morgan watches. And the first 100 pieces will be reserved for AeroMax owners. The car was created by alloys, composite materials, leather, steel and ash wood. The Aero Bang Morgan watch was used the titanium, tungsten, ceramic, Kevlar (a firm texture and lightweight synthetic fiber), steel and sapphire crystal materials.
