calculating methods of Pulp density

Pulp density has two ways to show: one way is percentage concentration and other way is ratio of liquid concentration.
Percentage concentration: it is percentage that account by weight of ore pulp density (solid) content, that the symbol “P”.
P={(the ore weight)/pulp density(ore and water)}*100%
Ratio of liquid concentration: it is expressed as the ratio of weight of liquid and ore in pulp, that the symbol “R”. For example, in 4kg pulp, water(liquid) weighs 3kg,ore weighs 1 kg, then the concentration of pulp liquid to solid ratio R=3:1=3.Converted into percentage concentration is 25%.

The way to determination of pulp density: manual measurement and automatic control.
Measurement time: the tool of manual measurement is the concentration of pot, a non-ferrous metals 0.5h or 1 h one time, black metal 1 h or 2 h one time.
